RampPlan

RampPlan keeps plans and imported imagery on your device. It contains no advertising or analytics and does not ask for your name, email address, contacts, or precise device location.

Privacy policy

Effective September 13, 2026

RampPlan is published by Common Sense Logic. RampPlan does not ask for or collect your name, email address, contacts, precise device location, payment-card details, plan contents, or imported imagery. Plans, downloaded aerodrome imagery, preferences, and imported imagery remain on your device unless you choose to export them.

Subscription verification

When you use RampPlan Pro, RampPlan sends a publisher-scoped Microsoft Store Collections ID over HTTPS to Common Sense Logic's service solely to verify that you have an active subscription. The service submits that identifier to Microsoft Store for entitlement verification and does not retain it. A one-way hash of the identifier is included in a short-lived map-access token and expires with that token.

Azure Maps

Azure Maps requests pass through the RampPlan service. To return imagery, the service receives map tile coordinates and zoom level for the aerodrome area you choose to view. RampPlan does not use device geolocation or retain these requests. They do not include your Microsoft account name, email address, plan contents, or imported imagery. Microsoft Azure may process network, request, and diagnostic information needed to operate and secure the service.

Free map sources

When you select OpenStreetMap, RampPlan requests the tiles needed for the visible map area from the configured OpenStreetMap tile provider. When you use USGS imagery or download aerodrome imagery, RampPlan requests the selected area from U.S. Geological Survey services. These providers receive map coordinates and ordinary network information, such as an IP address and request headers, needed to deliver and protect their services. RampPlan does not send them your plan contents, imported imagery, Microsoft account name, or email address.

Aircraft registration lookup

If you choose registration lookup, RampPlan sends the tail number you enter to the free ADSBDB community service. RampPlan uses only the returned aircraft type, manufacturer, registration, and country to find a dimensional template. It does not display or retain owner, operator, transponder-identifier, or aircraft-photo data returned by that service.

Microsoft Store

Microsoft may process acquisition, payment, installation, update, and diagnostic information under Microsoft's own privacy terms. Common Sense Logic does not receive your payment-card details from RampPlan.

Sharing and advertising

Common Sense Logic does not sell personal information or use it for advertising. Information is disclosed only to Microsoft, Azure Maps, USGS, the selected OpenStreetMap tile provider, and ADSBDB as needed to provide features you choose to use.

Your controls and policy changes

You can remove locally stored plans, downloaded imagery, and preferences from your device. If this policy changes, its effective date will be updated here before a new feature introduces additional data collection or use.
